1880     John Chapman married Harriet Linton in Uxbridge Township, Ontario, Canada. On the same day, John's first cousin, Josiah Evans, married Alice Sebeck in Uxbridge Township, Ontario, Canada.

1908     Herbert Cooper married Cora Alice Evans in Pickering Township, Ontario, Canada. Cora was the daughter of Josiah and Alice Evans.

1918     William Henry Makepeace died in Belgium, fighting in World War One. He is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial.
